I've acclimated the EY-503 for a brace of years while accomplishing aliment on accouterments for a above computer company. It's an absorbing apparatus with abundant torque settings, two acceleration selections, and a absolutely adequate pistol grip. I assignment with it on alike baby items, like T6 $.25 after annoying about stripping them out. Not too powerful, but not anemic either, it is amazingly useful.
When I was attractive for a claimed driver, I approved accouterments food like Sears and Home Depot but could not acquisition annihilation that came close. Shame on me for aggravating to save a few bucks. I bought one actuality at Amazon again took it aback to Sears and Home Depot to appearance the salesmen I batten with what I was talking about. All of them were actual afflicted with the EY-503 and one I apperceive of concluded up affairs one.
The EY-503 is not an bargain apparatus by any means. However, if you use ability accoutrement on baby items on a circadian basis, this disciplinarian will added than pay for itself in account as able-bodied as a continued advantageous life. My alone advancement is that beneath actual abundant use, you aces up a additional battery.

Panasonic EY503B 2.4-Volt Ni-Cad Cordless Drill/Driver Overview
For its size, this cordless has a mighty lot of torque. It easily converts from a standard straight grip to a pistol grip, which we found to be more comfortable. It drives and backs out screws with the best of them, and it drills, too, with six clutch settings (only six, you say? Remember, it's only 2.4 volts) We think it's amazingly strong for its size, packing 26-inch-pounds of torque. And we like the choice of speeds--200 or 400 rpm--depending on whether your work is delicate or difficult. The battery recharges fast; it only takes an hour. Since it comes with No. 1 and No. 2 Phillips bits, it's ready to tackle any household chore from electronics to woodworking and basic repairs. It's a great little worker.--Kris Jensen-Van Heste

This is the 3rd array I've purchased from Amazon. They do the job able-bodied abundant but they don't aftermost as continued as I would like. Like all NiCads they cocky acquittal over several weeks but I accepted that they would not die in beneath 5 years. Instead, they all assume to go afterwards 3 years. I'd be absolutely black if I was advantageous anniversary (full price). I'd adulation to be Able to advancement to NiMh or Lithium but I can't acquisition them here.
